Introduction

For the purposes of encouraging overseas students’ motivations of learning Chinese and attending tests, Hanban has developed the Scholarships & Summer Camp Project.

Examinees may apply for Confucius Institute Scholarship, if he/she:

? takes a Hanban test in countries other than China;

? is not a citizen of Peoples’ Republic of China; and

? achieves outstanding grade in such tests.

And scholarship laureates will be offered a one-month trip of study in China with financial support.

Anyone who takes a Hanban test in countries other than China may apply to the Chinese-Test Summer Camp.
